In recent days, the musical fountain at 29-3 Square has attracted a large number of locals and tourists every night, even though it has only been basically completed.

Many children excitedly rushed into the water fountain area to swim and play in the water, creating a lively atmosphere like a water festival.

However, this image has made many people feel uncomfortable.

Ms. Hoang Thuy (28 years old, Hai Chau district), who was visiting the 29-3 Square with her boyfriend, said she was very disgusted to see children freely playing and swimming in the musical fountain.

"People come to the square to enjoy the sounds and lights harmonizing with the rhythm of the water, not to watch children playing and swimming like this."

"If this image catches the eye of tourists, it will more or less affect the image of the tourist city," Ms. Thuy said.

Ms. Thuy also expressed concerns that the water pressure could change suddenly, and that the lighting system could pose a safety risk to children.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien (45 years old, residing in Cam Le district) believes that children playing and bathing create a joyful atmosphere, similar to water festivals held in many places. As long as no one dresses inappropriately in this area, it's fine.

After being shared on social media, this image also sparked controversy, with two opposing viewpoints.

A warning has been issued.

Remarkably, the loudspeaker system in the square had issued warnings, but parents still nonchalantly allowed their children to rush into the water fountain area to play.

The management also put up ropes around the area, but children still carelessly stepped on them to play in the musical fountain area.

Reporters repeatedly tried to contact Mr. Nguyen Huu Hinh, director of the Da Nang Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board, by phone to discuss this issue, but he did not answer.

Earlier, on the evening of March 25th, the Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, Nguyen Van Quang, inspected the renovation and expansion project of the March 29th Square.

During an inspection of the musical fountain performance area in the square, Mr. Quang instructed the relevant agencies and units to ensure the proper exploitation and operation of this feature.

The artistic water fountain project, costing approximately 10 billion VND, is part of the project to upgrade and renovate the Da Nang City memorial and to renovate and expand the 29-3 Square, with a total scale of nearly 213 billion VND.

The water fountain floor area is ^600m² (50 x 12m).

The musical fountain show at 29-3 Square lasts 3-5 minutes per song and is programmed with 24 diverse songs on various themes, suitable for holidays, festivals, and celebrations. The melodies are also varied, helping locals and tourists relax on weekends.

The atmosphere at 29-3 Square is so lively that it feels like a nightly festival.
