On the morning of June 24, the Ministry of Finance held an online conference to deploy and guide the compilation, estimation, and completion of socio-economic indicators to serve the construction of documents for the new provincial and commune-level Party Congresses for the 2025-2030 term.

Delegates were introduced to the group of economic statistical indicators, including the content focusing on the method of calculating the gross regional domestic product (GRDP); how to determine the proportion of added value of the digital economy in GRDP and the method of compiling the growth rate of total product value at the commune level. For the group of social statistical indicators, delegates were instructed on the content and method of calculating the human development index (HDI) and the average income per capita indicator. Also at the conference, delegates discussed and analyzed the difficulties and limitations in the implementation process and proposed solutions to improve the quality of statistical work, ensuring effective service for the preparation of party congresses at all levels.
