The exhibition displays 69 paintings, with diverse themes and materials such as lacquer, oil, silk... The nine female artists not only bring their works, but also send their confessions, like whispering diaries, revealing their creative origins, their concerns and beliefs smoldering in each brushstroke and color of their own.

In addition, the exhibition message also poses an interesting situation - where the creative subject and the object of expression are one, where the woman chooses to tell her own story, through personal, honest and exploratory perspectives.

Sharing the reason for establishing the group “Women drawing women” and the message of the exhibition, artist Tao Huong (founder of the group) expressed: “I want women to be drawn about themselves with empathy, gentleness and deep instinct. We seek the beauty of youth, a loose hair, a quiet sitting posture, or a cat lying obediently in the corner of the painting. As women, we do not draw to praise, but to listen, to understand, and to preserve feminine beauty in our own way.”

The nine female artists participating in the exhibition come from many generations, pursue many different materials and have unique creative personalities... One can mention artist Dang Hien, whose creative style delves into the spiritual and mental world : painting to dialogue with herself, with her inner mother, and with the deep, unnameable regions. Her paintings are not intended to express form, but are a form of "painting meditation" - where each female character is a door leading to memories, emotions and healing.

Or artist Tao Huong pursues a romantic realism style with a soft, feminine visual language but containing great inner strength. Her works are always imbued with emotions, not spontaneous emotions, but calm, experienced and selective emotions, as the artist believes: "The beauty of a work must come from the artist's heart". Tao Huong uses oil paint with skillful techniques, the soft and clear oil paint creates an impression of aesthetic emotions, the artistic techniques are elaborate but not dry but soft, lively and delicate.

In this exhibition, female artists depict many versions of women such as: mother, sister, lover, friend or themselves, in everyday life moments. This creates an aesthetic that is not stereotypical, but on the contrary reflects pluralism and openness in the view of gender and status.

Representing the group of female artists, artist Huynh Thao expressed: “We hope that the exhibition is an invitation for viewers to enter the inner world of women, not from the outside, but from the inside, with empathy, honesty and gentle humanity. This is not an exhibition to admire beauty, but a space for people to sympathize, reflect, and find themselves in things that seem to belong to others.”
