The CR450 train is designed with a test speed of up to 450 km/h and can reach a speed of 400 km/h in actual operation.

The CR450 prototypes were officially launched in Beijing on December 30 and are faster than the current CR400 Fuxing high-speed trains , which have a maximum operating speed of 350 km/h.

According to China Railway Group - the train manufacturer, the CR450 is a comprehensive breakthrough in theory, technology, equipment, standards and operation management of high-speed trains.

China's Science and Technology Daily reports that to achieve an operating speed of 400 km/h, engineers upgraded the traction system, engine performance and electrical system.

In addition, with its intelligent and advanced design, the CR450 train has outstanding capabilities in operation and control, not only faster but also safer, more energy efficient and providing a pleasant experience for passengers.

This high-speed train model will significantly improve the level of railway scientific and technological innovation, as well as China's scientific and technological self-sufficiency.
