Imprint of affection
From July 18 to 25, the Naval Academy organized a series of gratitude activities in Khanh Hoa province. The delegation offered incense at the National Historical Site commemorating the heroic martyrs of Ship 235 "Ship without number" in Hon Heo (Dong Ninh Hoa ward). Here, the Academy presented 10 gifts (total value of 5 million VND) to families with difficult policies.
The Academy also met and presented gifts from the Army and the Academy to 7 wounded soldiers and relatives of martyrs working at the unit; visited and presented gifts to 2 heroes of the People's Armed Forces.

The Academy supported the construction of “comrades’ houses” worth 144 million VND for soldiers in difficult circumstances. Together with the local government, the Academy presented 10 gifts (5 million VND) to ethnic minority families in Trung Khanh Vinh commune.
Colonel Nguyen Van Ton, Deputy Head of Political Department , Naval Academy shared: “This is an annual activity of the school’s Youth Union. The activity demonstrates the spirit of vanguard and dedication of the Army’s youth, supporting and helping the people, joining hands to build new rural areas; at the same time, deepening the flesh-and-blood military-civilian relationship and the qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers of the Vietnam People’s Navy soldiers”.
Contribute to taking care of martyrs cemetery
On the occasion of July 27, members and students of Dalat University joined forces to clean up and take care of the Martyrs Cemetery of Lam Dong province, responding to the movement "Repaying gratitude".

Hundreds of members actively cleared grass, collected garbage, planted and cared for trees, and beautified the cemetery area. This activity not only created a solemn and clean space, but also demonstrated the gratitude and responsibility of the young generation towards those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
According to Mr. Pham Hong Hai, Secretary of the Youth Union of Dalat University, despite the unfavorable weather, the school's students still actively cleaned up the cemetery and participated in the candle lighting ceremony on July 27.
"This meaningful activity demonstrates the deep gratitude, the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source", civic responsibility and patriotism of the young generation. This is a clear demonstration of the tradition of "Repaying gratitude", spreading the profound human values of the unit's youth", said Mr. Hong Hai.
In Dak Lak, the Youth Union of Dong Du Secondary and High School (Dak Lak) held an incense offering ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the provincial martyrs cemetery. Attending were representatives of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and 50 members representing more than 2,900 students.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phu, Vice Principal of the school, this is an annual activity to educate the tradition of patriotism and deep gratitude towards the previous generation. "Through these practical activities, students understand more about the value of peace and independence, fostering the spirit of living responsibly towards the community and the country," said Mr. Phu.
The gratitude activities on July 27 are not only a sincere thank you to the heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers and those who have contributed to the country, but also a vivid lesson about the tradition of patriotism. Through that, the younger generation will appreciate history more and continue the spirit of "Repaying gratitude", cultivating solidarity and humanity in the community.
