The first world-class stadium and Disneyland in Vietnam.

On October 31st, in Doha, Qatar, leaders of T&T Group and JTA International Investment and Consulting Group (Qatar) met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to report on their plan to study the investment in a multi-purpose sports complex meeting international standards and a themed park/amusement park (modeled after Disneyland) in Dong Anh, Hanoi.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister welcomed the investment plan for the project, noting that Hanoi, with a population of approximately 10 million, lacked a world-class, iconic sports complex. The Prime Minister expressed hope that the construction of this complex would contribute to meeting the needs of the capital's residents, but emphasized the need for efficient operation with accompanying services to ensure its long-term sustainability.

In the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, T&T Group and JTA Group exchanged a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in researching and investing in the development of a multi-purpose sports complex meeting international standards, as well as a themed park and amusement park (modeled after Disneyland).

Accordingly, the project covers a total area of ​​330 hectares, with an estimated total investment of approximately US$4.5 billion, comprising two main components: a sports complex and a theme park. Specifically, the study focuses on building an Olympic-standard sports complex with an estimated total investment of approximately US$1.3 billion, including international-standard sports facilities, highlighted by a modern, world-class stadium. The study also includes a theme park and entertainment complex with an estimated total investment of approximately US$3.2 billion, comprising theme parks and entertainment areas modeled after the world-famous Disneyland. The project aims to become the largest Disneyland in Vietnam and a leading entertainment destination for people in the country and the region.

According to the signed agreement, JTA will be primarily responsible for arranging the financing and funding for the project's implementation.

T&T Group, together with JTA, will propose the selection of consultants, conduct idea research, planning, design, operational management, and complete all legal procedures in accordance with Vietnamese and international laws.

According to Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group, the goal of the cooperation between T&T Group and JTA is to research, create, and develop a modern, world-class sports and entertainment complex based on famous models that have been successfully implemented worldwide. This complex will apply advanced and modern technologies; green technologies, meeting the standards for organizing Olympic-standard sports competitions, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnam and its people in the region and internationally.

“The project not only promotes the sports industry and improves the socio-cultural life of the people, but also opens up opportunities for the development of tourism in Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general. At the same time, it contributes to creating a solid foundation for cooperation between Vietnam and Qatar in the fields of sports and infrastructure, making a positive contribution to the friendly relations between the two countries,” Mr. Do Vinh Quang affirmed.

Determined to elevate national sports to international standards.
