VNA receives delegation of leaders and managers of Lao Press and Media

The two sides exchanged key contents such as: experience in building and managing content on multiple platforms; ways to prevent and combat fake news; solutions to improve reporters' working skills.

On the morning of November 17, at the headquarters of the National News Center, VNA had a meeting and exchange with the delegation of students of the training course for leaders and managers of the Press and Propaganda of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on the topic "Organizational model and management mechanism of VNA."

This is an activity within the Delegation's study and research program in Vietnam.

Speaking at the reception, Ms. Tran Thi Thang - Head of the Editorial Secretariat and External Relations Department, VNA emphasized that the meeting took place in the context that Vietnam and Laos are facing major changes to meet development requirements in the new situation.

Currently, Vietnam is synchronously implementing many solutions to build an effective, efficient and effective political apparatus; including the operation of a two-level local government. For the press system, it is the arrangement and streamlining of press agencies, the reduction of focal points, and the reduction of intermediary levels. VNA has recently focused on implementing the above tasks.
