Tuy An: Striving to collect more than 102.7 billion VND in budget

Tuy An District People's Committee has just held a conference to summarize the state budget collection work in 2023 and deploy tasks and collection measures in 2024.

 

In 2023, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the state budget revenue estimate for Tuy An district to be 136.7 billion VND; of which, land use fees are 80 billion VND. As of December 31, 2023, the total state budget revenue of the district is more than 130.6 billion VND, reaching 95.6% of the estimate assigned by the province; of which, land use fees are more than 59 billion VND, reaching 73.9% of the estimate assigned by the province.

 

However, according to Resolution 21/NQ-HDND of Tuy An District People's Council on adjusting the capital plan for 2023, the land use fee revenue source, the total budget revenue reached 123.6% of the provincial estimate, 118.1% of the district estimate, down 5.2% over the same period.

 

In 2024, Tuy An district was assigned a target of collecting 102.7 billion VND from the state budget; of which, non-state industry, trade and service tax is 19.9 billion VND, and land use fee is 40 billion VND. At the conference, delegates discussed solutions to implement this task.

 

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Huynh Gia Hoang, Chairman of Tuy An District People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the tax authorities as well as the coordination of departments, communes and towns in the district in collecting state budget. The Chairman of Tuy An District People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, units focus on preventing loss of real estate transfer tax, strengthening the management of tax collection, fees, charges and fixed revenues at the commune; at the same time, there are more breakthrough solutions, improving the efficiency of tax management, striving to excellently complete the task of collecting state budget this year.

 

On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 15 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in state budget collection in 2023.
