The Australia vs India match was the first time an all-female refereeing team was in charge of the Asian Cup. Yoshimi Yamashita (Japanese) was assigned as the main referee. Assisting Yamashita were two assistants, Makoto Bozono and Naomi Teshirogi.
This is also the top three female referees in Asia. They are the first female referee team of the AFC Cup (2019), AFC Champions League (2022) and J.League (2022).
