The activity aims to disseminate the latest regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and requires educational institutions to carry out this activity seriously and substantially.
Mr. Le Van Tuyen, Head of Quality Management Department of Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training, emphasized the key role of self-assessment in the education quality assurance cycle.

At the same time, thoroughly grasp the new regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training, and require educational institutions to innovate their thinking and conduct self-assessment activities not only to complete procedures but also for the goal of improving actual quality.
The conference spent a lot of time analyzing the basic differences between Circular 18/2018/TT-BGDDT and Consolidated Document 12 on quality assessment of secondary education. Many contents were adjusted in a specific, clear direction and linked to management and teaching practices.
One of the key issues of concern is identifying and correcting common errors in writing Self-Assessment Reports (SERPs).
The professional board reported that many Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) were general and used slogan-like language. The reporter requested that the QIPs be clear about the implementers, time, resources, and must be highly feasible.
In addition, schools need to pay attention to consistency when determining strengths and weaknesses among criteria, avoiding contradictions or lack of objectivity.
Delegates were also seriously informed about the 7-step self-assessment process, from collecting evidence, building the BTĐG to publishing the report and updating the improvement plan after the External Assessment results.
In addition to the content of new documents, knowledge and self-assessment skills, the conference also equips students with in-depth practical skills.
Teachers are given detailed instructions on how to use software to support self-assessment and evidence management, helping units optimize processes and ensure evidence is collected and processed scientifically .
Through the intensive training conference, managers and teachers have a better understanding of new points in quality assessment, from requirements on educational plans, teacher qualification standards to assessment of learning outcomes and student training.
This is an important basis for schools in Tuyen Quang to continue to innovate self-assessment work, aiming to improve the quality of education in the 2025 school year and the following years.
