Propagating, disseminating legal education and giving books to students in border communes of Nghe An province

On November 5, Hanh Dich Border Guard Station coordinated with Hanh Dich Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Hanh Dich Commune, Que Phong District, Nghe An Province) to organize propaganda and dissemination of legaleducation for 9th grade students and presented 100 books to the school.

At the propaganda session, the reporters of Hanh Dich Border Guard Station propagated and disseminated to grade 9 students many contents such as: Vietnam Border Law, National Border Law; Law on Drug Prevention and Control; some basic contents of Agreements and Treaties between Vietnam and other countries, especially between Vietnam and Lao PDR; negative impacts of social networking sites.

Through the propaganda session, students and teachers will also be able to grasp the basic contents of the Vietnam Border Law, the National Border Law, the Law on Drug Prevention and Control, and some basic contents of the Agreements and Treaties between Vietnam and other countries, especially between Vietnam and the Lao PDR...

This contributes to raising the awareness and responsibility of the young generation in participating in protecting the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's borders; fighting, preventing and eliminating drugs from the community; helping them use social networking sites in a useful way, preventing and avoiding bad and toxic information from outside on social networking sites.

Donated 100 books to the school.

It is known that this is a joint implementation program between the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command and the Nghe An Provincial Department of Education and Training for the period 2021-2025; a joint program between Hanh Dich Border Guard Station and the Que Phong District Department of Education and Training on strengthening propaganda and dissemination of legal education in the district.

Hanh Dich is a highland border commune of Que Phong district, with a total natural area of 18,019.34 hectares. The commune has 6 villages with 825 households and 3,639 people; there are 02 ethnic groups living together, the villages mainly follow the Nam Viec river, in which the Thai ethnic group accounts for 99.4% of the total population of the commune, the Kinh ethnic group accounts for 0.6%.

The commune shares a 13.063 km long border with Laos (bordering Nam Tay and Nam Bong villages in Vieng Phan village cluster, Sam To district, Hua Phan province), managing 4 national border markers 367, 368, 369 and 370.
