The "final" match of Group J between U23 Indonesia and U23 Korea ended with a minimal 1-0 victory for the representative of the kimchi country, thereby officially closing Indonesia's journey to qualify for the 2026 U23 Asian Cup.

The only goal was scored in the 6th minute, when Hwang Doyun finished accurately from close range, giving Korea the advantage.
U23 Indonesia then tried to rise up, creating some notable situations such as Arjuna's header off the post in the first half and Hokky Caraka's quick counter-attack in the second half.
However, all of them could not be converted into goals. The most outstanding player on the Indonesian side was goalkeeper Cahya Supriadi, with many impressive saves, especially in the 49th, 68th and 80th minutes, helping the team keep hope until the end of the match.

However, the home team's attack was still deadlocked, unable to penetrate the solid defense of U23 Korea.
At the end of the qualifying round, U23 Indonesia only had 4 points after 3 matches (0-0 draw with Laos, 3-0 win with Macau, 0-1 loss with Korea), not enough to qualify for the next round. This is a regrettable result, especially when they had reached the semi-finals of the 2024 U23 Asian Cup.
