Responding to storm No. 10: Traffic Police Department recommends ensuring safety when traveling on the highway

Due to the direct impact of storm No. 10 (Bualoi), on the expressway from Thanh Hoa to Hue, there was very heavy rain, wind level 5, level 6, limited visibility, slippery road surface, and some stagnant water.

In addition, this is a highway with only 2 lanes, no emergency lane, rest stops are not completed, the Traffic Police Department recommends that drivers control their speed, keep a safe distance, turn on headlights and warning lights. If there is an incident, immediately move the vehicle to the emergency lane, turn on the warning lights. If the vehicle breaks down on the main route, turn on the warning lights, place the cone at least 150 meters behind the vehicle and call the Traffic Police Department's hotline 19008099 for timely support.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that during the time the storm makes landfall from 7 p.m. tonight in the area from Nghe An to Northern Quang Tri, vehicles should not travel on the highway, exit the highway and find a safe shelter until the storm passes before continuing their journey.
