The National Assembly Standing Committee questioned groups of issues under the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Within the framework of the 25th session, on August 15, at the National Assembly House, the National Assembly Standing Committee held a question-and-answer session on a group of issues under the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Attending at the provincial bridge were comrades: Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation (NAD) of the province; Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; NADs of the province and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

In the morning, after the opening speech of the question and answer session by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, under the direction of National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh, National Assembly deputies questioned the Minister of Justice on 3 groups of issues: Implementation of the law and ordinance making program; solutions to ensure progress, quality and procedural records of projects and drafts submitted by the Government to the National Assembly; solutions to improve the quality of the legal system, solutions to control power, prevent and combat corruption and negativity in law making work under the responsibility of the Government. Current situation and solutions to improve the capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of the work of inspecting legal documents. Solutions to overcome the situation of slow promulgation, overlapping and contradictory content and limitations and violations in the promulgation of documents detailing laws, resolutions of the National Assembly, ordinances and resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee. Current situation and solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings, improve the effectiveness of asset auction and judicial appraisal.

Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province and delegates attended at the bridge point of our province.

In the afternoon, National Assembly deputies continued to question the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on issues such as: Solutions to overcome difficulties in agricultural exports (shrinking export markets, many businesses lacking orders, price drops for some key agricultural products, impact on farmers' income and livelihoods...); the exploitation, protection and development of aquatic resources; solutions to lift the European Commission's (EC) "yellow card" on fisheries; and the conversion and reclamation of rice-growing land, ensuring food security and rice exports.
