Ca Mau conducts training to enhance competitiveness, aiming for double-digit growth.

On the morning of December 10th, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, in coordination with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), organized a training course to enhance the competitiveness of Ca Mau province, aiming for double-digit growth in the 2026-2030 period. This is one of the important activities within the framework of the comprehensive cooperation agreement between Ca Mau province and UEH for the 2025-2030 period.

Attending the training course, there were more than 100 trainees who were leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province. Here, trainees were informed and disseminated about the competitiveness of Ca Mau province in the context of global economic integration; integrated planning and logistics development of Ca Mau province in regional, national and global linkages; strategic planning to improve the competitiveness of clusters and tourism industry of Ca Mau province; high-tech agricultural value chain and market linkage activities.

The teaching method in the program combines concise theory with discussions of practical case studies in Ca Mau to help trainees, who are leaders of various units, identify issues and policies related to the province's competitiveness and sustainable development.

Through the training course, the aim is to help the leadership, management, staff and policy implementers of the province understand the current competitive position; identify bottlenecks affecting the competitiveness as well as sustainable development of the province. From there, there are initiatives and solutions to overcome difficulties, preparing for the new term. Especially breakthrough solutions, of regional connectivity in the context of advantages in institutional innovation, traffic connection and resource resonance when merging provinces, contributing to helping the province achieve the target of double-digit growth from 2026.
