Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu visited Comrade Le Thi Ai Nam, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Comrade Nguyen Van Diep, former Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and former Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department.
During his visits, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu cordially inquired about the health, living conditions, and families of the former provincial leaders; and expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions of the former provincial leaders over the years to the development of the province.
Providing a quick update on the province's situation after the merger, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu stated that the province is receiving attention and support from the central government in investing in many important transportation infrastructure projects such as expressways, airports, and seaports, creating favorable conditions for connecting with major economic centers in the region and the country. In addition, the province has planned to invest in many projects to form a connected transportation network, aiming to make good use of the important transportation infrastructure system being invested in by the central government; many major events have been organized to promote the potential and strengths of Ca Mau, as well as the land and people of the province, creating confidence and a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere in the new development phase.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu informed: The 6th session of the 10th Provincial People's Council was successfully held, with lively and focused questioning sessions. Recently, the province welcomed and worked with a delegation led by General Secretary To Lam during a visit and inspection at Hon Khoai Island (Dat Mui commune, Ca Mau province). Through this visit, General Secretary To Lam issued many important directives, opening up a strategic development vision for Hon Khoai in particular and Ca Mau province in general, creating confidence, enthusiasm, and excitement among the Party Committee, government, and people.
On behalf of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu presented gifts and wished the former provincial leaders and their families good health and happiness. He also expressed his hope that they would continue to monitor, support, and contribute their valuable wisdom and experience to the work of Party building and government building, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the province in the future.

Former provincial leaders expressed their joy and enthusiasm at the achievements the province has made in recent years; at the same time, they highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility, and decisive leadership of the provincial leaders after the merger. They expressed confidence that the Party committees, government, and people of the province will continue to uphold the tradition of unity, the spirit of innovation and creativity, seize opportunities, overcome challenges, overcome difficulties, and effectively exploit potential and strengths, contributing to the further development of Ca Mau province.
