Coach Mai Duc Chung has made great contributions to Vietnamese women's football.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Tu - Vice President of VFF sent his thanks to Coach Mai Duc Chung. During his time as Head Coach of the Vietnam Women's Football Team, Mr. Mai Duc Chung and his students won 6/8 SEA Games gold medals and especially brought the women's team to the 2023 World Cup Finals. These are achievements that are difficult to surpass."

Despite difficult circumstances such as when the team competed in the Asian Women's Finals, with almost the entire squad infected with Covid-19, the coach and players still tried their best to win tickets to the 2023 World Cup Finals.

Former head coach of the Vietnamese women's team, Mr. Mai Duc Chung, could not hide his emotion when attending the gratitude meeting organized by VFF.

Coach Mai Duc Chung sent his thanks to the leaders of the sports industry and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) for always trusting him to lead the women's team. On this occasion, Mr. Mai Duc Chung also thanked the sports centers, women's football clubs, the coaching staff and the students who have always accompanied him.

Coach Mai Duc Chung hopes that Vietnamese women's football will continue to progress stronger in the future.
