It is known that Huawei has been researching and developing its foldable phone models for a long time. When launched on the market, the company's products are not only perfect in design but also possess advanced technology, providing users with a professional experience.

Leading the list is Samsung, holding a 51% market share thanks to the success of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 – which helped the company regain market share lost to Huawei and Honor earlier this year.

Thanks to the Motorola brand and the launch of its clamshell-style foldable phone line, Lenovo rose to second place with a 15.1% market share.

The remaining two positions in the top 5 were taken by Honor with 7.6% market share and Xiaomi with 6.3% market share.

According to IDC's assessment, the global foldable phone market is experiencing strong growth, potentially reaching 22% in 2024. This growth rate is three times faster than that of the conventional smartphone market, promising a vibrant fourth quarter with upcoming new product launches from Huawei.

Experts believe that Huawei can maintain its position in the first quarter of 2025 if it can sustain its growth momentum and constantly innovate. Huawei needs to ensure its devices meet user needs and differentiate itself from competitors.
