Lotusmiles Pay is a product that integrates two main features: Vietnam Airlines membership card and international payment card. The product includes two versions: Credit Card and Debit Card, allowing users to pay at millions of Visa acceptance points worldwide, and automatically accumulate miles according to the Golden Lotus program policy. The card is issued and managed by ACB, supporting online card opening on the Lotusmiles application and spending tracking via the ACB ONE platform.

Vietnam Airlines owns a database of nearly 7 million members and will be responsible for marketing products, adding bonus miles, and upgrading membership levels when spending conditions are met according to each specific program. In addition, the airline has the right to own payment transaction data arising from the product, serving behavioral analysis activities, implementing personalized incentives, and developing appropriate cross-selling programs.

Mr. Le Hong Ha, General Director of Vietnam Airlines, said that digital transformation at Vietnam Airlines does not stop at applying technology, but rather changes the approach to customers to understand correctly, serve accurately and create a seamless experience. Lotusmiles Pay is a tool that helps Vietnam Airlines get closer to this goal, as it not only serves on flights, but is also present in customers' daily transactions.

In this cooperation, ACB plays the role of a partner in issuing and operating the entire card business process, realizing a "one-stop" experience for users. With flexible product development capabilities and a deep understanding of personal financial behavior, ACB aims to make Lotusmiles Pay a part of its strategy to serve middle- and upper-class customers, especially those who travel frequently and need a seamless service experience.

Mr. Tu Tien Phat, General Director of ACB, shared: "We are proud to play the role of comprehensive issuing and operating partner for this special card line. With in-depth financial analysis capabilities, a modern operating system and experience in serving elite customers, ACB is committed to bringing a smooth, smart and worthy financial journey to Lotusmiles members."

With a global payment platform, Visa provides international payment technology infrastructure for Lotusmiles Pay, ensuring widespread use domestically and internationally. Visa cooperates with more than 60 airlines in more than 30 countries and supports more than 700 global co-branding initiatives. Sample data of co-branded card portfolios in the airline sector from VisaNet network in January 2024 shows that co-branded cardholders spend 13 times more on member airlines and make 12 times more airline transactions than regular cardholders. This affirms the value of co-branded cards and exclusive incentive programs and services from Visa's global partner network in meeting the actual needs of customers.

Ms. Dang Tuyet Dung, Director of Visa Vietnam and Laos, informed that the cooperation with Vietnam Airlines and ACB demonstrates Visa's long-term commitment to promoting the digital payment ecosystem in Vietnam. Lotusmiles Pay seamlessly connects airlines, banks and technology, meeting multi-channel spending needs and optimizing benefits for users."

In terms of features, when using Lotusmiles Pay credit cards, members can choose one of two options: unlimited bonus miles and qualifying miles based on spending, or bonus miles combined with membership upgrade (Titanium, Gold, Platinum) based on total spending in 12 consecutive months. With debit cards, members can earn bonus miles based on spending and average payment account balance (CASA), divided into specific value groups and domestic or international transaction areas.

The product has been piloted internally since May 2025 to complete the process and operation. From July 2025, Lotusmiles Pay will be officially launched and widely distributed through the digital system and service access points of the three parties.

The launch of Lotusmiles Pay has affirmed Vietnam Airlines' efforts in modernizing its membership program, expanding utilities beyond the flight itinerary and connecting with customers' digital lives. This is a concrete step in the strategy of digitizing and developing personalized services, contributing to increasing the experience and value of Golden Lotus members in the new era.
