On the morning of March 10, 2025, Viglacera Corporation started the project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Song Cong II Industrial Park - Phase 2 in Thai Nguyen.
Song Cong II Industrial Park Phase 2 project has a scale of 296.24 ha and is implemented in Ba Xuyen commune, Tan Quang commune, Song Cong city, including 02 areas (Area No. 1 with an area of 175.52 ha and Area No. 2 with an area of 120.72 ha).
With a convenient traffic location, 10 km from Thai Nguyen city, Huu Nghi border gate, Tan Thanh Lang Son border gate about 160 km, Noi Bai international airport about 45 km, Hanoi center about 65 km, Cat Bi airport, Hai Phong port about 170 km. This is a multi-industry concentrated industrial park, with the criteria of a green growth industrial park, sustainable development and environmental friendliness.
The total investment capital is 3,985 billion VND, of which the investor's contributed capital is 597.82 billion VND, showing the strong commitment of Viglacera Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company - the unit directly implementing the project.
The project is expected to be completed within 36 months from the date of land handover. This industrial park promises to be a convergence of advanced industries such as electronics, clean energy, high technology and manufacturing.
Mr. Nguyen Tran Tuan Nghia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viglacera Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company, said that with the investment in Song Cong II Industrial Park - Phase 2, Viglacera has created a network of 16 Industrial Parks , located in many provinces and cities across the country.
Currently, 15 operating Industrial Parks of Viglacera attract nearly 500 large investors with a total investment of nearly 20 billion USD, in Yen Phong, Bac Ninh province alone, it has attracted about 12 billion USD (with large investors such as Samsung, Canon, Orion, Ottogi, Mobase, Amkor, Hyosung...), thereby creating jobs for about 100,000 workers.
"Wherever Viglacera is present in industrial parks, there are opportunities to attract investment and create large export values contributing to the country's export turnover," Mr. Nghia emphasized.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh expected Thai Nguyen province to accompany and support Viglacera Corporation in investment promotion to attract investors to produce in the industrial park, creating a strong attraction for the industrial park to soon come into operation.
The highlight of the project is the attractive incentive policy for investors: corporate income tax exemption for the first 2 years, 50% reduction for the next 4 years, along with many import tax incentives for high-tech industries and renewable energy.
This is also Viglacera's commitment to accompany businesses, turning Song Cong II into a "fertile land" for large-scale investment projects.
