Following the success of the Northern Regional Finals held on October 26, the Mathnasium Championship 2025 - 10-year Journey to Unleash Math Talents continues to explode with the Southern Regional Finals held on November 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, officially closing the 10th season full of emotions and great success.
Mathnasium Championship is an annual Math Thinking competition organized by the Mathnasium Vietnam system. This is not only a place to help children improve their thinking ability and problem-solving skills, but also creates an environment for them to challenge themselves, explore their potential, confidently conquer knowledge and orient their future.

Starting in 2015, Mathnasium Championship has been on a steadfast journey of sowing the seeds of thinking, nurturing the love of learning Math and using Math to develop outstanding thinking for many generations of students across the country. Over the 10-year journey, the competition has left many marks with impressive numbers: Receiving the response and companionship from more than 1,000 public, private and international schools; Honoring 120 outstanding champions; Awarding scholarships and bringing the Mathnasium Math Thinking Method to thousands of students and parents.
“The year 2025 marks a special milestone - 10 years of Mathnasium Championship accompanying generations of students on the journey to unleash their Mathematical Thinking talents. Initially, the competition was organized exclusively for Mathnasium students so that they could compete, practice their mettle and confidence. After that, the competition attracted a lot of attention from students and parents, so it was expanded nationwide. Through the competition, Mathnasium hopes to give students the opportunity to access an advanced learning method, contributing to shaping and developing comprehensive thinking capacity, creating a solid foundation for their future,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hoang Diem, CEO of Mathnasium Vietnam.

For students, the Mathnasium Championship is not only a special experience but also an important milestone in the journey of conquering knowledge. During his return visit to Mathnasium teachers, Nguyen Bui Duc Dung - Champion of Mathnasium Championship in 2017 and 2018, who has achieved many impressive achievements in domestic and international competitions, said : "The competition helps me practice quick reflexes, improve my confidence and ability to stay calm and handle problems under pressure, which is an important stepping stone for my studies and future exams."

Officially starting from August 20, Mathnasium Championship 2025 consists of three rounds: Preliminary, Semi-final and Final. Participants are students from 6 to 11 years old nationwide, divided into 6 levels corresponding to each grade.
The Preliminary Round took place from September 15 to 29 in the form of an online exam on the contest's official website, making it easy for candidates from all over the country to participate. The Organizing Committee selected 3,227 candidates with the best results to move on to the Semi-Final Round.

The Semi-Finals were held on October 11 and 12 in the form of direct exams at 28 Mathnasium Centers nationwide. At the end of this round, 471 candidates with the highest scores were determined to compete in the Finals.
The Final Round and Award Ceremony are held in two regions: the North ( Hanoi ) and the South (Ho Chi Minh City). In this decisive round, all contestants will face each other directly by answering each question within a fixed time to determine the highest positions.

Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thai Bao Thien Trung - Head of the Department of Mathematics Teaching Methods, Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education - Vice Chairman of the Professional Council of the competition said: "Mathnasium Championship does not ask questions that require students to have advanced or in-depth knowledge of Mathematics, but focuses on students' ability to apply flexible thinking to specific problems and situations within a certain period of time. To become the best contestants of the competition, students must have sharp reasoning skills, quick calculation and decisiveness in giving answers."

On November 2, 2025, the Mathnasium Championship 2025 Southern Region Finals took place in Ho Chi Minh City with 289 contestants participating. After intense and dramatic competitions, the 18 best faces of 6 Level were honored with First, Second and Third prizes, concluding an impressive competition season, marking the 10-year milestone of the journey to spread the spirit of positive learning and creative thinking through Mathematics.
