In order to promptly recognize and honor talented faces in the field of arts, the Vietnam Institute for Educational Development and the Vietnam - Southeast Asia Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City jointly organized a ceremony to honor teachers and students with high achievements at two international music competitions: Youth Friendship Festival 2022 and Asia Pacific Arts Festival 2023.

Surpassing about 160 other contestants from many countries and territories around the world, Pham Minh Ngoc (born in 2012) won the championship cup at the 2023 Asia- Pacific Arts Festival (APAF) in Thailand.
"I am very happy and surprised to win the championship. I am grateful to the teachers who taught me, thank Ted Saigon School for giving me a good learning environment, thank my parents for working hard so that I have the conditions to develop my skills."
Pham Minh Ngoc (11 years old) won the championship cup at the 2023 Asia- Pacific Arts Festival (APAF) in Thailand.
Also at this competition, Tran Minh Thien Kim (9 years old) won the prestigious gold medal. Tran Minh Chieu - Tran Minh Thien Kim's father - said that Thien Kim has played the piano since she was little. Thien Kim also plays the saxophone quite well. Before the competition, Thien Kim was quite pressured, but with her own efforts, she achieved a higher result than expected. This will be a memorable milestone, and also a motivation for the 9-year-old girl in the coming time.

He said that the event honoring the artistic performances of the Ted Saigon branch is a testament to people-to-people diplomacy and the importance of culture in foreign relations.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Director of the Vietnam Institute for Educational Development - said that bringing musical talents to international competitions and achieving many achievements has also contributed to introducing the image of the people and country of Vietnam to international friends.
This festival took place in Thailand, with many competitions such as musical instruments, singing, dancing, hip-hop in the form of solo, duet, orchestra, choir, and band.
This is the third time a Vietnamese contestant has won the Championship Cup at this competition. This achievement has left a deep impression in the hearts of international friends about a generation of young Vietnamese - friendly and talented.
