At the end of this afternoon's trading session, VN-Index increased by 8.1 points, equivalent to 0.51%, to 1,581.81 points. Total trading volume reached nearly 1.7 billion units, worth VND44,159.5 billion, up 24% in volume and 13% in value compared to yesterday's session. The entire HoSE floor had 223 stocks increasing and 106 stocks decreasing.
Notably, 3 stocks HPG, TPB and VPB were the main driving forces and contributed a total of more than 7 positive points to the VN-Index.
Specifically, HPG shares increased sharply by 5.2% to VND28,500, the highest level in more than 3 years, with the highest matching order in the whole market with more than 139.1 million units.
TPB and VPB, from a 2-3% increase at the end of the morning session, both increased to the ceiling price of 19,450 VND and 28,950 VND, respectively. The matching orders were both very high, with TPB matching 73.6 million units and VPB matching 62.5 million units.
Meanwhile, Vingroup stocks with VIC and VHM decreased by 2-3%, while VRE reversed and increased slightly by 1.3% to 30,500 VND.

VN-Index sets new historical peak.
Regarding industry groups, many real estate codes simultaneously hit the ceiling such as TDC, HTN, PDR; CEO increased by 7.6%. CEO and PDR alone matched orders of nearly 47 million units each. Cash flow also spread to many other codes such as TDH (+6.7%), KDH (+6%), DXG (+3.9%), DIG (+3.4%), DXS (+3.3%), while KBC (-2.1%), VRE (-1.6%), IDJ (-1.4%) decreased.
The energy group was also a bright spot when most agreed to go up, notably PVD and PVE hitting the ceiling; PVS (+9%), PVC (+7.3%), BSR (+2.7%), PLX (+3%), OIL (+3.3%), POW (+1.7%), GAS (+1.6%).
Meanwhile, on the HNX floor today, there were 102 stocks increasing and 73 stocks decreasing, the HNX-Index increased by 2.2 points (+0.82%), to 270.86 points. The total matched volume reached more than 132.3 million units, worth 2,716 billion VND.
UpCoM-Index also increased by 0.46 points (+0.43%) to 107.92 points. Total matched volume reached more than 82.3 million units, worth VND1,031.6 billion.
