Coolmate successfully raised capital in Series C round, expanding development strategy

(Dan Tri) - Coolmate has just announced the completion of its Series C funding round led by Vertex Growth Fund, with the participation of Cool Japan Fund, Youngone CVC, and existing investors Vertex Ventures SEA & India and Kairous Capital.

The deal, which brings together three international investment funds from Singapore, Japan and South Korea - major financial and manufacturing hubs in the region - demonstrates the increasingly clear potential of Vietnamese businesses in creating international-class consumer products.

Three key development strategies for the new stage

After 6 years of development, Coolmate has served more than 5 million orders, built a domestic supply chain and built a reputation with customers through product quality, reasonable prices and attentive service. The successful mobilization of Series C investment capital opens a new growth phase with 3 key strategic directions of the brand.

The first is to expand to female customers (Go Women). Previously, in March 2025, Coolmate launched a sports product line for women, marking an important step in its market expansion strategy.

The company's goal is that by 2030, 40% of revenue will come from female customers, helping Coolmate become a "sports brand for all", instead of focusing only on men as in the first phase.

The second is to expand the direct sales channel (Go Offline). Anticipating the trend of experiential shopping, Coolmate plans to open its first store at the end of December 2025, providing a modern shopping space where customers can directly experience the materials, design and spirit of "Made in Vietnam".

By 2030, direct retail is expected to contribute 40% of business revenue.

Third is to expand to the international market (Go Offline).
