The importance and trends of 5G and Wi-Fi 7 in 2025

According to the Global Mobile Suppliers Association (GSA), by the end of 2024, the world had over 320 commercial 5G networks, with more than 3,000 5G devices launched. Meanwhile, Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) is predicted to be the gold standard for wireless connectivity by 2025.
