At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded Gold Medals to the creative teams of two plays: "Nguyen Van Cu - Youth with Great Ambition" of the Army Cheo Theater and "Thien Menh" of the Bac Ninh Cheo Theater; Silver Medals to 65 artists and actors and Gold Medals to 33 individuals with outstanding achievements. Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, Head of the Festival Steering Committee, affirmed: This is a large-scale art event, organized periodically to honor, preserve and promote the value of traditional Cheo art heritage. The festival is also an opportunity for art troupes across the country to exchange, learn, and share creative and performance experiences.
This year, the Festival brings together 12 professional art troupes, performing 21 plays with rich themes - from history, folk to modern - vividly reflecting the breath of life today. Each play is the crystallization of serious artistic work, creativity and dedication of Cheo artists from all over the country. Taking place in Bac Ninh - the land of Quan Ho folk songs, where the quintessence of Kinh Bac culture is condensed, the Festival has a special meaning, as a meeting between two unique traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese people: Cheo and Quan Ho.

Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong acknowledged and commended the great contributions of art troupes, artists, directors, screenwriters, musicians, designers, and technicians - those who made the Festival a success.
The Deputy Minister stated: Through each play, each role, the art of Cheo is changing strongly. Many troupes have researched and innovated in staging, music, and costumes, harmoniously combining tradition and contemporary, demonstrating the spirit of innovation and integration while still preserving its identity - the right direction for Cheo to continue to develop sustainably in modern life.
The festival is not only an occasion to honor artistic values but also an opportunity to assess the current situation, discover and nurture young talents, helping Cheo art units to improve themselves, aiming at contemporary audiences; at the same time, it is an opportunity to take a deeper look at the challenges of traditional art in the context of integration, digital transformation and changing public tastes.

Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong believes that, from the success of this year's Festival, Vietnamese Cheo art will continue to develop - more confidently, more professionally, closer to the people, worthy of being the "voice of the soul" of Vietnamese people in the new era.
