VTV produces a series of key programs to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army

(CLO) On the afternoon of December 16, in Hanoi, Vietnam Television (VTV) held a press conference to inform about key events and programs on VTV to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).


Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Do Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director of VTV said: “From the beginning of 2024, VTV has had a plan to promote events during the year, in which the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army is the most special event that we have devoted all our efforts to deploy and produce diverse programs on channels and digital platforms. VTV aims to promote the anniversary of December 22 with careful preparation, love, respect and gratitude for Uncle Ho's soldiers".

Accordingly, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, VTV will produce a series of key programs, including: Special art and political programs "Marching under the military flag", "The historical path"; documentary "Father and son soldiers"; TV series "No time"...

The political and artistic program “The Road of History” will be broadcast live at 8:10 p.m. on December 21, 2024 on VTV1, including 3 chapters: The Road of Independence, the Road of Unification, and the Road to a New Era. The program will feature art performances, animations, reports, and conversations; thereby depicting the 80-year journey of building, fighting, and growing up of the heroic Vietnam People's Army.

On VTV1 channel, VTV has produced and broadcast a series of documentaries on the Army, exploiting many different approaches to portray the image of soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, such as: "Marching under the military flag", "Because they are soldiers" (Army Cinema), "Stay in Phong Chau"; documentary "Father and son soldiers"...

After 10 episodes, the TV series “Space of Time” is attracting audiences to follow the stories of soldiers of two generations. In addition, VTV produced a documentary “Living in the hearts of the people” in ethnic languages, broadcast on VTV5 channel. “Living in the hearts of the people” is the identity and sacred mission of the Vietnam People’s Army, affirming that our Army is always steadfast, steadfast, and absolutely loyal to the goal and ideal of fighting and sacrificing for the people.

VTV8 channel presents to the audience a series of documentaries: "Truong Son in the mind", "Wounds that are hard to heal", "Binh Gia Victory", "One River" and "The Day of Return" along with the art program "Truong Son Dong calls Truong Son Tay - The sky of bomb craters".

VTV9 channel has many interesting entertainment programs: “X-show” brings interesting challenges: Experience being a special forces soldier, music program “Song by the Hammock”; talk show “Wonderful Marriage” with touching stories about veterans and parents of today’s soldiers. Along with that are political programs, special topics and a newly produced documentary: “War Zone D, where the legend begins”...
