Jobe Bellingham - MU deal ends

Jobe Bellingham has decided to quash all rumors regarding the possibility of joining MU in the January transfer window.

Jobe Bellingham has no intention of joining MU.

According to British media, despite being closely followed by MU for many weeks, the 20-year-old midfielder has no intention of leaving Dortmund to go to Old Trafford on loan. The "Red Devils" not being able to participate in the Champions League is considered by Jobe as a major obstacle in his career development.

Despite a difficult start, Jobe believes he will find his form in Germany instead of escaping on loan. The decision to stay at Dortmund is the first important test on the journey to assert his own abilities, thereby escaping the giant shadow of his older brother Jude.

Jobe joined Dortmund in the summer of 2025 for a fee of €32 million, plus €5 million in add-ons, after helping Sunderland gain promotion to the Premier League and winning the Championship Young Player of the Year award. However, his Bundesliga adventure has not been a success. He has only started 4 matches in all competitions, mostly on the bench or taken off early.

The pressure was even greater when Mark Bellingham – Jobe's father – publicly clashed with coach Niko Kovac and the Dortmund board of directors in August, after his son was substituted midway through his Bundesliga debut.

After the incident, Sports Director Sebastian Kehl had to issue a statement emphasizing: "The technical area and changing rooms are only for players, coaches and staff - not for relatives or advisors."
