Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in Top 25 national parks in the world

Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park located in Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province was recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage according to geological and geomorphological criteria in 2003 and recognized by UNESCO for the second time as a World Natural Heritage with biodiversity and ecological criteria in 2015, is a rich destination in Quang Binh tourism programs.

 

Phong Nha - Ke Bang contains a complex, long-term geological development history from 400 million years ago of the earth; is a karst limestone formation millions of years old with more than 300 caves and underground river systems; hundreds of rare species of animals and plants exist, including many species listed in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world..., which is the inspiration for tourists and scientists to come here to explore.

 

Thus, along with the two cities of Hanoi and Hoi An in the list of 25 best destinations in the world, Phong Nha - Ke Bang (Quang Binh) is the 3rd place in Vietnam voted by tourists around the world (Travelers' Choice 2021 - Best of the Best) on TripAdvisor in 2021.
