Workshop - A place of creative freedom and passion connection

Amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, workshops are not only a place for entertainment and skill acquisition, but also an opportunity for participants to discover themselves, regain balance, heal emotions or connect with people who share the same passion.

Thu Ha introduces resin paintings to a young person participating in the workshop

A workshop is simply understood as a meeting to exchange knowledge, methods, and skills on a specific field or topic. Recently, workshops have gradually become popular in Tay Ninh province with diverse topics, attracting many participants, especially young people.

"Touch" workshop is a project that Huynh Thi Thu Ha (born in 1999, residing in Binh Minh ward) cherished and decided to carry out, hoping to bring young people a creative playground through handicraft activities with the goal of "Making a difference with your own hands".

Currently working in the financial sector in Ho Chi Minh City, Thu Ha said: “After stressful working hours with numbers, I always look for an activity to help me relax and balance my life. After experiencing craft workshops, I want to bring this interesting thing back to share with young people in Tay Ninh.”

For Thu Ha, “Touch” here means touching to understand, touching to know and appreciate the works you create. Here, people are not limited by skills or artistic knowledge, everyone can create products with their own personal stamp.

With resin paintings, people use resin glue, acrylic paint and materials such as rocks, sand, gravel, etc. to create unique ocean, natural, and country scenes. Dioramas are miniature landscape models that can use many different materials to create a vivid and artistic 3D scene.

Instead of following fixed painting patterns, for resin or diorama painting, participants can choose their own images and color combinations to recreate majestic natural scenes in their own way.

Nguyen Huynh Nhu (born in 1999, living in Tan Ninh ward) shared: “I accidentally saw a post about resin painting and was immediately attracted. Participating in the workshop helped me relax and relieve stress very effectively on the weekend.”

Diorama making workshop

In addition to resin painting or dioramas, many young people also enjoy making teddy bear keychains - a seemingly simple experience but brings many emotions.

Truong Ngo Phuong Thanh (born in 2007, residing in Long Hoa ward) excitedly said: “The feeling of creating a souvenir with your own hands is really different. It is not just a product but also a healing process”. The special thing about the workshops is the ability to connect. Strangers can become friends after just a few hours of chatting, sharing their interests and feelings.

Thu Ha said that the cost of participating in the workshops at “Touch” is designed to be suitable for students, students, and families with young children to create conditions for everyone to easily access. All raw materials, materials, and tools are prepared by Ha, participants only need to have a comfortable spirit to unleash their creativity.

Currently, the workshops are held weekly in Tay Ninh, and are also expanded according to major events and holidays of the year. “I hope that the “Touch” workshop is not only a place to make handicrafts but also a place for each person to find themselves through each brushstroke, needle line, and color block” - Thu Ha shared.

Not only stopping at the entertainment aspect, workshops are now also considered an effective experiential education method, helping to develop soft skills and life values. From July 2025 to now, Tay Tri Liberal Education Company Limited (Tan Ninh Ward, Tay Ninh Province) has organized many workshops such as relief painting, knitting, conical hat painting,... for students and teenagers in the area.

Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Hao - CEO of Tay Tri Liberal Education Company Limited, shared: "In Tay Ninh, workshops are quite new, so we want to bring this activity closer to everyone. Depending on events, holidays, and anniversaries in each month, we will plan to organize 1-2 workshops so that students have more opportunities to experience and develop skills."

In particular, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, the company organized a series of activities: Traditional Lantern Festival, Mooncake Making, Cake Ordering Fundraising Program, Acoustic Music Night and Charity Program for children in Truong Mit Commune. One of the most popular activities is the Mooncake Making Workshop, where children can experience the entire process from mixing dough, shaping, molding to baking.

In order for everyone to have a complete baking workshop, the organizers have carefully prepared all three stages: before, during and after the program. From determining the audience, designing the content, preparing the ingredients and materials to communicating about the workshop. During the implementation process, the staff gave enthusiastic instructions, and after the end, they also organized a survey to improve the quality of the activity.

Parents and children join the baking workshop

Ms. Tieu Thi Thu Tram brought her 8-year-old daughter to the moon cake making workshop and said: “I am very happy because my child can participate in an activity related to traditional culture and learn more about the meaning of moon cakes. She is very proud to hold the cake she made herself and is eager to bring it home to share with her family.”

Not only stopping at craft workshops, in the near future, Tay Tri Liberal Education Company Limited also plans to organize AI workshops, instructing people on how to apply artificial intelligence to study and work, search and exploit information effectively. The unit is also building a series of monthly themed workshops with diverse topics such as career orientation workshops for 12th grade students, workshops to spread the culture of reading paper books, ... as well as many life skills training activities suitable for each age group.

It can be seen that workshops are gradually becoming a “bridge” between education and art, emotions and innovative thinking, contributing to building a proactive and creative young generation in the future. This is also a place to inspire and develop positive and optimistic living habits, helping each person enjoy the value of happiness from simple things./.
