ECONOMIC STRUCTURE TRANSFORMATION TOWARDS MODERNITY
In Tan Huong, agriculture still plays an important role in economic development. The 706 ha of rice fields have entered the stage of uniform flowering; nearly 800 ha of fruit trees continue to yield over 6,300 tons; 170 ha of vegetables and corn fields are all growing well.
These results come not from natural factors, but also from the proactive response of the locality, especially from strengthening the internal irrigation system, enhancing disease forecasting and implementing root-level prevention, ensuring stability for production in the context of fluctuating weather and agricultural markets.

Comrade Nguyen Phuc Quang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Tan Huong Commune People's Council, said: " Agriculture is still the most important livelihood foundation. The commune's orientation is not to stop at maintaining production but to gradually increase added value, shift to a climate-adaptive agricultural model, technology and stable consumption linkage; implement many solutions to develop trade and services, and call for investment in other important areas such as: Industrial clusters, education, trade and services".
"The last month of the year is always the peak period for performing tasks. The commune will focus on reviewing all socio-economic indicators, speeding up the progress of unfinished projects, and ensuring timely disbursement. In addition, it requires all sectors to strengthen disease prevention and control, ensure security and order, especially in areas adjacent to industrial parks and markets, and prepare well for activities to celebrate the Party and celebrate Spring." From focusing on stabilizing production, Tan Huong is gradually expanding its goal of improving quality. This approach helps the commune’s agriculture stand firm against risks, creating a foundation for shifting the economic structure in a more modern direction.
Along with agricultural development, the commune also has a great advantage from Tan Huong Industrial Park, attracting many businesses to invest, creating jobs for local workers, promoting economic restructuring towards trade and services.
The development of industrial zones entails the development of services, commerce, housing, and infrastructure, thereby improving people's lives, promoting economic growth, and contributing to creating a new face for the locality.
The daily influx of workers creates a huge demand for consumption, leading to the rapid development of lodgings, convenience stores, food and beverage services, and transportation. Traditional markets and convenience stores operate stably, contributing to keeping prices from fluctuating sharply at the end of the year.
Notably, the Tan Ly Dong Industrial Cluster is being reviewed by the province for its investment policy approval. If implemented, this will be a “new space” to help the locality expand its industrial development space, while also adding motivation to attract businesses.
These changes show that Tan Huong commune is shifting from a purely agricultural commune to a commune with a more diversified economic structure, in which industry and services play an important driving force, promoting the development of other sectors.
DIGITAL MEDIA, INTERACTIVE SPACE BETWEEN GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE
In recent years, implementing the Party and State's policy on digital transformation, Tan Huong commune has gradually transformed strongly, creating a breakthrough in management and operation to serve the people.
It is worth noting that digital transformation here does not stop at software deployment or target implementation, but becomes a method to improve operational efficiency, expand transparency and increase service quality.
The campaign “Universalizing digital signatures in 30 days” shows a highly adaptable approach, the government does not impose but directly guides people, explains each operation and supports on the spot. Thanks to that, digital signatures are no longer strange, but gradually become a convenient tool for submitting documents online, verifying identity or declaring residence.

The Commune Public Administration Service Center, which has received more than 6,600 records in the past 5 months by operating on the National Unified Public Service Portal. With nearly 6,500 records resolved, of which 6,413 were resolved on time, reaching 98.92%, thereby reflecting the change in service style to be faster, more accurate and capable of tracing each processing step.
The key point of Tan Huong lies in considering data as the “backbone” of digital transformation. Cleaning up civil status records, with more than 2,800 birth and marriage registration cases, helps build a standard data warehouse, qualified to integrate into the National Population Database.
This is an important step forward, helping to shift residential management to a digital model, significantly reducing pressure on the communal police force in the context of rapidly increasing mechanical population from industrial zones.
Thanks to standardized data, temporary residence procedures for workers renting accommodation are significantly shortened. Landlords can declare online instead of having to go to the commune, reducing the amount of paper documents and increasing connectivity in management.
In addition, the commune's digital communication channels create a two-way interactive space between the government and the people. Information on new policies, cybersecurity warnings, instructions on using public services, etc. are updated faster, contributing to increased transparency and helping people proactively monitor public service activities.
All of this shows that digital transformation in Tan Huong commune is not a movement but has a direct impact on the operational structure of the apparatus, from work processing methods, data organization to service culture. This is an important condition for the commune to move towards a digital governance model - the foundation of an advanced new rural commune.
CREATE A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR A NEW DEVELOPMENT STAGE
Along with economic development and digital transformation, Tan Huong devotes large resources to infrastructure investment and improving public services, two key factors to ensure sustainable new rural goals.
In 2025, the commune will implement 13 projects with a total capital of more than 10.5 billion VND. The projects have been completed and put into operation, directly serving the people's needs, and are expected to significantly improve the ability to connect production, transport agricultural products and travel of the people.
Along with that, the locality upgraded Tan Hoa hamlet park, surveyed and repaired degraded roads, maintained lighting infrastructure and continued to improve community activity spots. Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen, Chairman of Tan Huong Commune People's Committee, emphasized that all investments are aimed at improving the quality of life and maintaining high new rural standards.
In the environmental field, the commune has strengthened supervision of waste collection activities of enterprises, avoiding backlogs and preparing for more transparent and effective public service bidding in 2026. Cultural and sports activities such as mini football tournaments and folk sports festivals also help increase community cohesion and strengthen solidarity among the people.
From the management perspective, Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen, Chairman of Tan Huong Commune People's Committee added that in December, the focus of the Commune People's Committee is to continue improving the quality of administrative procedure settlement, minimizing overdue records; maintaining clean land and population data; strengthening propaganda and mobilizing people to participate in voluntary social insurance and health insurance; focusing on military recruitment in 2026. Sectors must closely follow the locality, grasp the situation to immediately handle arising problems.
The outstanding results achieved show that Tan Huong is gradually affirming its position as a comprehensively developed commune, with a foundation of sustainable agriculture, developed industry and services, synchronously invested infrastructure and strong determination in digital transformation; gradually becoming a dynamic and modern developing locality, improving the quality of people's lives, creating a solid premise for a new development stage.
