Thanh Quan Commune celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of "National Day for National Security Protection"

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of August 18, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Quan commune held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of "National Day for National Security Protection (ANTQ)" (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Quan commune presented flowers to congratulate the Commune Police.

In Thanh Quan commune, 20 years of implementing the "National Day for National Security Protection" has become a widespread movement, affirming the great strength of the great national unity bloc in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level. The "National Day for National Security Protection" in 2025 was held at Dong Chang village and attracted over 200 delegates and a large number of people to attend.

At the festival, cadres, party members and people discussed and exchanged experiences in building the movement "All people protect national security" and contributed ideas to the police force in performing the task of ensuring security and order in the area.

In recent times, Thanh Quan Commune Police have played a pivotal role, synchronously deployed many solutions, effectively fought against all types of crimes, and maintained security and order in the area. The unit has regularly organized night patrols, inspected and reminded service businesses; controlled signs and behaviors that pose a risk of causing social disorder.

At the same time, administrative reform was promoted, more than 500 citizen files were received and processed; electronic identification activation was supported for hundreds of people. Propaganda activities on traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, and rescue were organized regularly, creating positive changes in people's awareness and actions.

Authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leader of Thanh Quan commune awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to outstanding individuals in the movement "All people protect national security".

Collectives with outstanding achievements in the movement "All people protect national security" have been commended and rewarded.

Recognizing the achievements in the movement "All people protect national security", the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit to 1 outstanding individual of Thanh Quan commune. At the same time, the Chairman of Thanh Quan commune People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement "All people protect national security".
