Vinh Thai Commune organizes National Day for National Security Protection

This evening, August 10th, the National Security Protection Day is being held in Thu Luat village, Vinh Thai commune. This is the location chosen by Vinh Linh district to host the event as a model for the entire district.

Over the years, the Party Committee and the government of Vinh Thai commune have consistently identified protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and building a nationwide movement to protect national security as important and ongoing tasks for the entire political system and society.

Therefore, the Party Committee and the government of Vinh Thai commune have focused on leading and directing the coordinated implementation of propaganda, education , and mobilization efforts to raise awareness among cadres, Party members, and the people about the glorious traditions of the nation, the leadership role of the Party, and the strength of the people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Alongside propaganda efforts, the commune's Party committee and government have focused on directing the development and replication of self-governance, self-prevention, self-protection, and self-mediation models.

To date, Vinh Thai commune has 4 models in the movement for all citizens to protect national security. These models have made a positive contribution to maintaining security and order in the area.

Over the past 19 years since its launch and implementation, the National Day for Protecting National Security in Vinh Thai commune has become increasingly effective. In practice, many collectives and individuals have achieved outstanding results in building the movement for protecting national security, receiving commendations from various levels.

At the event, representatives from agencies, schools, and villages in Vinh Thai commune signed a pledge to compete in implementing the nationwide movement to protect national security.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit to one individual; the Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police awarded certificates of merit to one collective and one individual; the Chairman of the Vinh Linh District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to five collectives and ten individuals; and the Chairman of the Vinh Thai Commune People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to five collectives and eleven individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the nationwide movement to protect national security.

The People's Committee of Vinh Linh district presented 10 gifts to 10 families entitled to preferential policies; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Thai commune presented 20 gifts to 20 disadvantaged families in the commune.
