Consider two important projects
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phuc Tho District, Doan Tuan Anh, emphasized that preparations for the meeting were carried out seriously and thoughtfully in the spirit of innovation. Accordingly, the district People's Council delegates will review and comment on reports on the direction and administration of the district People's Committee on socio -economic development; the implementation of the budget revenue and expenditure estimates for the first 6 months of 2024; review and approve investment policies, adjust investment policies for public investment projects; medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025...
In particular, at this session, the People's Council of Phuc Tho district will consider and approve two important projects including: the project "Construction planning of Phuc Tho district to 2030 and vision to 2050"; the project "Preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage associated with tourism development in Phuc Tho district to 2030 and the following years".
With the motto of continuing to innovate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the People's Council's operations, Chairman of the District People's Council Doan Tuan Anh requested delegates to contribute opinions and objectively and substantially evaluate the achieved results; at the same time, actively discuss and propose solutions to effectively implement the socio-economic development targets in 2024.
5 key task groups and solutions
Reporting at the 18th session, Standing Vice Chairman of Phuc Tho District People's Committee Kieu Trong Sy said that with the spirit of proactiveness, creativity, determination to complete the goals and tasks right from the first day and month of 2024, the District People's Committee has closely directed departments, branches, and communes and towns to implement the resolutions and conclusions of Hanoi City, District Party Committee - District People's Council.
The District People's Committee has closely followed the local situation, proactively selected breakthrough and key tasks, and synchronously implemented solutions according to the project and planning. It has maximized investment capital sources from Hanoi City and districts to promote socio-economic development.
In the first 6 months of 2024, Phuc Tho district has basically achieved and exceeded 7/22 socio-economic targets, 8 targets have not yet been evaluated, and 7 targets continue to be strived for. The total production value in the district in the past 6 months is estimated at 9,108 billion VND, an increase of 10.1% over the same period in 2023. The economic structure continues to shift positively: industry - construction 50.3%; services 32.7% and agriculture 17%.
Social culture continues to receive investment attention. Cultural activities are increasingly innovative and orderly. Social security policies are implemented promptly and effectively. Administrative reform and digital government construction have achieved many positive results. Political security is maintained; local defense and military are strengthened...
To complete the socio-economic development targets of 2024, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Tho district Nguyen Dinh Son emphasized 5 groups of key tasks and solutions. Accordingly, the People's Committee of the district will continue to direct the drastic implementation of economic development solutions, accelerate the progress of new rural construction; strengthen and improve the efficiency and quality of state management of planning, land, construction and urban order and environmental protection.
The District People's Committee will also direct the maintenance of cultural and information activities; do a good job in education and training; ensure social security; and synchronously implement disease prevention and control solutions. At the same time, continue to promote administrative reform, build digital government and perform well internal affairs, ensure national defense and security.
