Handling negative comments about the sacrifice of Major Nguyen Van Kha

On April 22, the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (abbreviated as the Cyber Security Department) of Hau Giang Provincial Police worked with the owner of a social media account that made false comments, insulting the sacrifice of Major Nguyen Van Kha, a police officer of Vinh Tuong Commune, Vi Thuy District, Hau Giang Province, and insulting comrade Kha's family.

Previously, on April 18, through professional work, the Cyber Security Department of Hau Giang Provincial Police discovered a post on Hau Giang Television's Facebook page in which most people in the comments section were heartbroken and expressed their condolences for the sacrifice of Major Nguyen Van Kha, a police officer of Vinh Tuong Commune, Vi Thuy District, while performing patrol duties to prevent illegal fishing with electric trawlers on Nang Mau Canal on the evening of April 14.

Handling negative and offensive comments about the sacrifice of Hau Giang police officers -0 — Officers of the Cyber Security Department of Hau Giang Provincial Police worked with the owner of a social media account that made false, offensive comments, insulting the sacrifice of Major Nguyen Van Kha.

However, there was a Facebook account that made negative comments, insulting the sacrifice of Major Nguyen Van Kha and his family. Through investigation, this subject regretted his thoughtless behavior while drunk and apologized to Major Nguyen Van Kha's family. Currently, the Cyber Security Department of Hau Giang Province Police is consolidating the case file to handle this subject according to the law.

As reported by CAND Newspaper, at 8:30 p.m. on April 14, Vinh Tuong Commune Police received a report from local residents about a subject using an electric trawler to illegally fish on the Nang Mau canal, passing through Vinh Tuong Commune. Vinh Tuong Commune Police divided into 2 groups using a boat to patrol the river.

At 9:00 p.m. the same day, the team of comrade Nguyen Van Kha and 2 members of the local security force discovered that the subject was using a trawler connected to an electric source to illegally fish in Vinh Thuan hamlet, so they signaled the vehicle to stop for inspection. However, the 2 subjects did not comply, did not turn off the power source but increased the speed and ran away, crashing into the working group's vehicle, causing comrade Nguyen Van Kha to fall into the river and go missing.

Upon receiving the news, Colonel Huynh Viet Hoa, Director of Hau Giang Provincial Police, directed the forces to urgently search and more than 1 hour later, the body of comrade Nguyen Van Kha was found. The results of the initial examination of the scene and autopsy determined that the comrade was electrocuted, leading to his death...
