Strictly handle the behavior of profiteering from social housing

In Resolution No. 12/NQ-HDND dated July 24, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council on the socio-economic development, national defense and security plan for 2025 of Dong Nai province, it is required to promote the development of social housing and workers' housing; focus on quickly and effectively implementing the Project to invest in building at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030.

The resolution also requires the Provincial People's Committee to consider, promulgate or submit to the Provincial People's Council to promulgate policies to support the promotion of social housing development, improve housing quality to meet the needs of low-income people and workers in industrial parks and export processing zones to have the opportunity to access and improve housing. The province publicly introduces the land fund for social housing investment to businesses for research and investment proposals.

Closely manage and supervise the investment, construction, sale, lease and use of apartments in social housing projects. Prevent and promptly handle violations and exploitation of social housing policies.

In the period of 2021-2030, Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces before the merger were assigned by the Government 66.7 thousand social housing units. Up to now, only more than 2 thousand units have been completed and put into use, many projects are being implemented and about to start construction.
