Many socio -economic targets exceed the resolution

Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat was formed on the basis of merging wards 1, 2, 3, 4 and 10, Da Lat City (old). Initially implementing the new government model, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat faced many difficulties, however, in the midst of the challenges, the Ward Party Committee demonstrated steadfast political will, promoted the spirit of responsibility, promoted democracy, and maintained high consensus among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat has made efforts to overcome difficulties, recover and develop strongly after the COVID-19 pandemic. The ward has achieved and exceeded all 12 socio-economic development targets. The economy has shifted in the right direction, with an average production value growth rate of 13.6%/year - an increase of 3.6% compared to the set plan.

Services and trade, especially tourism , have become the pillars of development. There are currently 16 tourist areas and spots, nearly 9,000 individual business households and more than 1,800 enterprises in operation. Tourism infrastructure has been upgraded, tourism products are increasingly diverse and unique, contributing to improving service quality and increasing the contribution rate in the economic structure.

The agricultural economy has shifted towards modernity, adapting to climate change, linking value chains and developing agricultural tourism. Many high-tech application models have been effectively implemented. The locality has 18 OCOP products with 3 stars or more. The average agricultural production value reaches 630 million VND/ha. Budget revenue has grown steadily, increasing by an average of 11.3%/year; 100% of investment capital for projects is disbursed on schedule.

Building synchronous infrastructure

Identifying urban infrastructure as the foundation for sustainable development, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat focuses on investing in construction and renovation in the direction of modernity - civilization - green - clean - beauty. In the period of 2021 - 2025, the ward has 77 infrastructure projects deployed with a total capital of more than 633 billion VND. In addition, the people contributed 15.7 billion VND to build roads, lighting, community houses, etc. The ward is determined to rectify construction order, no forbidden areas, no exceptions, preserving the landscape and urban identity. Cultural, educational and medical works are invested in, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people.

The whole ward has 23/32 schools meeting national standards; the quality of teaching and learning is constantly improving; students have achieved high results in competitions for excellent students and scientific research. Health care, disease prevention and control are implemented flexibly and effectively. By the end of 2024, the rate of people participating in health insurance will reach 95.6%. Social security policies, care for the vulnerable, protection of children and the elderly are fully and promptly implemented; the ward no longer has poor and near-poor households according to the new standards.

In addition, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat pioneered in implementing digital transformation in administrative management. The electronic one-stop system operates effectively, creating convenience for people. Digitizing records, deploying electronic offices, and using technology platforms help improve management efficiency and transparency in public administration. Codes of conduct, improving public ethics, and building the image of officials who are close to the people, understand the people, and work for the people are focused on.

New term, new development aspirations

The ward pays special attention to the work of Party building and rectification. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, Conclusion 21-KL/TW, and Regulation 144-QD/TW, have been seriously implemented. The organizational apparatus has been streamlined, streamlined and effective. The work of inspection, supervision and disciplinary action within the Party has been carried out strictly and in accordance with principles.

The Front and mass organizations have played a good role in monitoring and criticizing, creating a bridge between the Party - the government - the people. Many practical movements such as "Green Sunday", "Flower Street, Flag Street", "Model Residential Area"... have spread strongly, contributing to raising community awareness and beautifying the urban landscape.

The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat for the 2025 - 2030 term continues to set a grand vision, which is to build the ward into a digital, smart, modern, international-class urban area; maximizing the characteristics of climate, landscape, culture and architectural heritage of Da Lat.
