Xuan Loc: Contributed nearly 1.2 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 10

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune launched a movement to raise funds to support people in the Central and Northern provinces to overcome the severe consequences caused by storm No. 10. As of October 31, 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune had mobilized 1,194,952,000 VND.

Accordingly, after nearly a month of implementation, the movement has received positive responses from cadres, party members, union members, association members, religious organizations, businesses, schools and a large number of people in the commune. Many organizations and individuals have proactively donated and supported both materially and spiritually, expressing their sympathy for the people in the affected areas. Of which, schools in the commune contributed more than 600 million VND; cadres, civil servants, armed forces, religious organizations, businesses and people contributed more than 550 million VND.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune said: “The result of the mobilization of nearly 1.2 billion VND is a vivid proof of the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, humanity and affection of the cadres, party members and people of Xuan Loc commune. This is a great source of encouragement, contributing to helping people in flood-hit areas soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. Immediately after receiving the donations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune promptly transferred them to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province in batches. By October 31, the unit had completed the campaign and was completing the procedures to transfer the remaining amount to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.”

The campaign to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 has ended, but the spirit of "sharing food and clothes", "loving others as you love yourself" continues to spread widely in the community. This meaningful activity not only demonstrates the tradition of solidarity and humanity of the Vietnamese people but also contributes to educating the younger generation about love, community awareness and social responsibility, affirming the image of Xuan Loc people as affectionate, united and full of love.
