According to preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs, the country's animal feed export turnover in the first 11 months of 2023 reached over 1.11 billion USD, an increase of 7% compared to the first 11 months of 2022.
Of which, November 2023 alone reached 98.53 million USD, down 16.3% compared to October 2023 but up 12.6% compared to November 2022.

Animal feed exports to the Chinese market - the largest market, in November 2023 decreased by 28% compared to October 2023 but increased by 12% compared to November 2022, reaching over 43.47 million USD, the cumulative export turnover to this market in the first 11 months of 2023 reached 539.75 million USD, a sharp increase of 32.9% over the same period in 2022, accounting for 48.6% of the total export turnover of this group of goods in the country.
Animal feed exports to the Cambodian market - the second largest market - increased by 0.9% over the same period, reaching 155.55 million USD, accounting for 14% of the total turnover; in November 2023 alone, it increased by 24.5% compared to October 2023 but decreased by 12% compared to November 2022, reaching 12.45 million USD.
The Malaysian market ranked third in terms of turnover, reaching 108.65 million USD, up 30.2% over the same period; in November 2023 alone, animal feed exports to this market decreased by 26.9% compared to October 2023 and decreased by 0.1% compared to November 2022, reaching 9.46 million USD.
Exports of animal feed to FTA and RCEP markets reached US$915.67 million, an increase of 16.6% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 82.4% of the total export value. Exports of animal feed to FTA and CPTTP markets reached US$132.98 million, an increase of 10.2%, accounting for 12%. Exports of animal feed to Southeast Asian markets reached US$329.99 million, an increase of 2.5%, accounting for 29.7%.
