Love for the countryside in the digital age

The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 has ended but its echoes still linger. One of the special impressions and highlights that attracted a large number of visitors to this festival was the Light Festival. With hundreds of drones performing performances combined with artistic lighting effects in the night sky, the program awakened many senses, bringing viewers indescribable emotions. And more meaningfully, the program sent love for the homeland through... light!

Only when you come and see it with your own eyes can you feel the emotions welling up in your heart when the art performance of 500 drones creates the shape of the Vietnamese flag, or the shape of coffee beans - the pride of the people of Dak Lak ... in the sky, then the emotions burst when seeing the drones flying in the shape of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory Monument, the map of Dak Lak province, the logo of Dak Lak province... Along with thousands of LED lights, 3D mapping projection technology and unique laser effects, the light show created a magical space, making the atmosphere in Buon Ma Thuot that night more brilliant and sparkling.

The light festival attracts the attention and participation of many people and tourists.

The creativity, unique performance, and lighting art just like that told stories about history, images of people, coffee, the land here..., true to the theme " The world of coffee - Brightening up Ban Me". The combination, interweaving of light and color in each "stroke" in the night sky clearly depicted the people, the land of Ban Me, both sparkling, soaring and extremely calm. Each performance evoked sacred feelings in each person.

Music and light together witnessed the sublimation of emotions, spreading the message of love for the homeland, encouraging love and national pride for the young generation. Art has been a bridge for people to approach and preserve the good values of their homeland. Therefore, it can be affirmed that for the first time in Buon Ma Thuot, the artistic drone performance has... "touched" the sky, touched the hearts of tens of thousands of people!

“Satisfying, emotional” – that was the comment of many locals and tourists present at the festival that day. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huong, a tourist from Hanoi shared: “I came here on the occasion of the festival, witnessed with my own eyes, watched the lights “tell” the story of the history, culture, and strengths of the land… in an extremely vivid and brilliant way. Witnessing the symbols and emblems of Buon Ma Thuot City “painted” on the high sky, made me more attached to the land and people here”.
