- On October 26, the volunteer group of the Hanoi Love Connection Club organized a gift giving ceremony for people affected by storms and floods in Ben Cat village, Van Nham commune.

Ben Cat village, Van Nham commune, with 155 households and 685 people, is one of the places that is heavily affected by storms and floods. 95% of households depend on agricultural production for their economy. After the recent flood, most households in the village were submerged by floodwaters 1.5m deep or more; property damage was estimated at about 3.5 billion VND.

During the program, the delegation presented 155 gifts including essential necessities and notebooks to local residents and students. The total value of the gifts was about 40 million VND.
