25 authors participate in writing camp for children

On November 1, at Nha Trang Writers' House, the Department of Performing Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa, and the Center for Supporting Literary and Artistic Creation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) jointly organized the opening of the Writing Camp for authors writing for children in 2025. Attending the event were Mr. Tran Huong Duong - Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Writing Camp; poet Tran Dang Khoa - Vice President of the Vietnam Writers' Association; and 25 authors from the Central and local literature and art associations across the country.

The writing camp takes place from October 30 to November 5. During the writing camp, writers and poets will have the opportunity to learn about reality and discover new things in Khanh Hoa province to gain creative emotions and inspiration to write valuable and quality poetry and prose works for children. This is also an opportunity for some authors to complete their unfinished works. In addition, the authors will also have the opportunity to discuss and exchange with poet Tran Dang Khoa about the direction of creative content according to specific topics; participate in the exchange and meeting program with the theme "Childhood Literature Train" at Khanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural Palace.

The 2025 Writing Camp for Children's Writers is an activity to realize the Project "Improving creative capacity and literary theory and criticism in the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030" of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Through the writing camp, the Organizing Committee hopes to produce works of high quality and artistic value for children and be well received by children, thereby meeting the increasing demand for literary creation of children; contributing to enriching the spiritual life of children today and tomorrow.
