46 works won the 3rd Dak Lak Provincial Press Award in 2022

On June 21, the Provincial Press Awards Council held the 3rd Dak Lak Provincial Press Awards Ceremony in 2022.

Comrades: Pham Minh Tan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Tuan Ha, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Press Awards Council; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; departments, branches and sectors; central and local press agencies attended.

After 3 times of organization, Dak Lak Provincial Press Award has increasingly attracted the attention of journalists and reporters from local press agencies, central press agencies and radio stations residing in the area. As of March 31, 2023, the Provincial Journalists Association - Standing Agency of the Award received 101 works, in the following categories: print, electronic, television, radio and press photos from Journalists Associations and resident press units submitted to the contest.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Press Awards Council, many practical contents and issues were reflected in a diverse, vivid and comprehensive manner in all areas of social life mentioned in the works submitted for the award, such as: building Buon Ma Thuot into a global coffee capital; exporting durian officially to improve production efficiency; building brands for the province's agricultural products; building military-civilian solidarity to maintain border areas and develop the economy ...

In addition, reporters and journalists have not been afraid of hardships and dangers, going to remote, isolated areas where loggers are rampantly destroying forests to capture information, fully and accurately reflecting hot, prominent issues that are of concern to society and the public, such as: the issue of forest protection and preventing the hunting of wild animals, the current situation of some irrigation projects in the Central Highlands...

The author and group of authors who won the B prize of the 3rd Dak Lak Provincial Press Award in 2022 were honored to receive the award.

Comrade Nguyen Tuan Ha, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Press Awards Council, assessed that the entries showed the sense of responsibility of journalists in the province who have always closely followed reality and grassroots, reflecting all areas of social life, national security and defense, Party building and the political system in the province. The bright examples, typical advanced models, and dynamic ways of working of cadres, party members and workers were promptly reflected by the press for replication... Thereby, the image of the people and homeland of Dak Lak has been deeply engraved and imprinted in the hearts of the public.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Press Awards Council awarded 46 outstanding works in 5 types of journalism: radio, television, print, photo, and electronic newspapers to award: A, B, C, and Encouragement.

In the print category, the Provincial Press Awards Council awarded the A prize to the work “Border Aspiration” (5 episodes) by the group of authors Dam Thi Thuan, Nguyen Thi Quynh Anh, Do Thi Thu Lan (Dak Lak Newspaper); 2 works won the B prize, 5 works won the C prize and 5 works won the Encouragement prize.

In the electronic newspaper category, there were 2 works that won the C prize and 7 works that won the Encouragement prize.

In the category of photojournalism, there were 2 works that won C prize.

Radio category, A prize belongs to the work "Dak Lak tourism recovers after the pandemic" by author H'Xíu Hmok (Voice of Vietnam Central Highlands Resident Agency); 2 works won B prize, 2 works won C prize and 5 works won consolation prize.

In the television category, the A prize went to the work “Inspiring the Youth to Renew the Homeland” by the group of authors Le Thi Thanh Ngoc, Dang Long Hiep, Nguyen Quoc Phuoc (Dak Lak Office - Ethnic Language Television Department, Vietnam Television); 2 works won the B prize; 3 works won the C prize and 6 works won the consolation prize.
