The bonsai pot of ancient Lagerstroemia by artisan Tran Van Tho belongs to the large-leaf white Lagerstroemia variety, estimated to be over 200 years old, about 4 meters tall from the pot to the top, with branches and leaves growing from the top in a pyramid shape.
The basin is cast in cement with a diameter of 2.8 meters, delicately carved with a dragon head, with a slow-speed rotating electrical system, allowing viewers to stand in one position to admire every artistic detail of the work. The total weight of the work is over 6 tons.

To complete this work of art, artisan Tran Van Tho hired 4 highly skilled workers in Hue , and it took more than 2 months to complete.
It is known that at the record certificate awarding ceremony held on November 2, artisan Nguyen Van Tho and members of the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association donated funds, auctioned Vietnamese bamboo artworks and mai chieu thuy to help the people of the Central region overcome the consequences of natural disasters with a total amount of 40 million VND and sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue city and the Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, each locality 20 million VND.
