Leaders of Da Nang City People's Committee inspect the recovery of flood consequences and response to storm No. 13

DNO - On the morning of November 4, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Nam Hung inspected the actual situation of overcoming the consequences of floods and directed the work of being ready to respond to storm No. 13 in some communes and wards in the south of the city.

In Huong Tra ward, heavy rain and floodwaters in recent days have caused serious landslides along the northern bank of the Tam Ky River, passing through block 7. However, some households have not yet moved according to local regulations.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung visited and encouraged the family of Mr. Tran Van Len (Block 7) to soon move to a new residence to ensure the safety of life and property.

Regarding resettlement arrangements for Mr. Len's family, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee agreed to assign Huong Tra ward to choose a location behind the school of the Farmers' Association of Quang Nam province (old), which is convenient for the family's aquaculture.

* After inspecting the landslide situation on the Ly Ly river bank (Xuan Phu ward), Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung requested the locality to focus human resources and means to urgently build soft embankments and reinforce the landslide areas.

Besides focusing on overcoming flooding and landslides, Xuan Phu commune needs to urgently deploy measures to respond to storm No. 13 and heavy rain in the coming days.

Next, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung inspected the landslide recovery situation at some locations in Quang Phu ward and directed the response to storm No. 13 in the coming days.
