GĐXH - On Valentine's Day, you can refer to these 5 delicious, easy-to-make, and unique dishes to "rekindle" your romance with your significant other.
Valentine's Day, February 14th, is also known as the day of lovers. Besides buying gifts and exchanging sweet wishes, you can also prepare delicious treats yourself as a gift for your loved one.
1. Make your own chocolate.
Ingredient:
+ 100g cocoa butter
+ 70-80g cocoa powder
+ 30g honey
+ 60g palm sugar

Making:
- First, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from the heat and add cocoa powder and honey, stirring well for about 3 minutes. If using palm sugar, add the sugar to the butter first, stir, and then add the cocoa powder; this will make it easier.
- Next, place the silicone mold on a flat tray and use a spoon to scoop the chocolate into the mold. If you like, you can add nuts, roasted almonds, peanuts, or dried macadamia nuts – all are delicious. Fill the mold halfway with chocolate, add the nuts, and then cover with another layer of chocolate. Once finished, refrigerate for about 2 hours until the chocolate hardens and becomes firm to the touch.
2. Chocolate-dipped strawberries
Ingredients for chocolate-dipped strawberries
+ 10-12 large strawberries with leaves still attached
+ 300g chocolate
+ 6 teaspoons of cooking oil
+ Decorative colored candies
Making:
Wash and dry the strawberries. Place the three types of chocolate (white, pink, and dark) into three heat-resistant bowls, then melt each chocolate with 2 tablespoons of oil. Stir well with a spoon, repeating until the chocolate is smooth and melted.
Next, dip the fresh strawberries into melted chocolate, then roll them in colored candy and sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet. Finally, place them on parchment paper and wait until the chocolate dries and hardens. If you want to add more decorations, wait until the first layer of chocolate is completely dry, then heat the remaining chocolate, put it in a piping bag, and decorate as desired.

3. Flower-shaped egg roll
Ingredients for making flower-shaped egg rolls:
+ 4 chicken eggs
+ 1 sausage
+ Green onions
+ Seasoning: fish sauce, pepper
Making:
Step 1: Crack two eggs into a bowl. Separate the egg whites from the remaining two and put the yolks in a separate bowl. Season to taste and gently stir with chopsticks until well combined.
Step 2: Slice the sausages very thinly, use a cookie cutter to create flower shapes, chop the excess sausages into small pieces and put them in a bowl, chop the green onions finely.
After preparing the ingredients, grease the pan with oil, then wipe it dry with a paper towel. Pour a thin layer of egg from the bowl into the pan and carefully roll it up with a spatula. Then, pour another layer of egg and continue until all the egg in the bowl is used up.
Arrange the flowers in the pan first, then gently pour the mixture from bowl 2 over them. When the egg whites set, roll them up in the egg yolk mixture and transfer to a plate to cool. Cut with a knife and you're done.

Doves symbolize peace and the warmth of a loving relationship. This Valentine's Day, try making one to enjoy with your significant other.
Ingredients for making pigeon sticky rice:
+ 500g glutinous rice
+ 1 pigeon
+ 200g coconut milk
+ 200g fresh lotus seeds
+ 2g cardamom, cinnamon, star anise
Making:
Step 1: Clean the pigeon, then char the skin until golden brown to firm up the meat and give it a fragrant aroma. Add cardamom and cinnamon to a pot of water, simmer for 20 minutes, then add the pigeon and cook until done. Afterwards, shred the meat into thick strands, mix with the cooked sticky rice, and shape into a mold.
Step 2: Soak glutinous rice for 2-3 hours, rinse thoroughly, and then steam. Spread the rice evenly with your hands and place the peeled lotus seeds and lotus seed embryos on top. Steam for about 45 minutes. When the sticky rice is almost cooked, pour coconut milk over it and adjust the heat until the rice is soft and chewy.
Step 3: Once the sticky rice is cooked, transfer it to a plastic bag and flatten it. Prepare a stainless steel bowl lined with plastic wrap, place the flattened sticky rice in the bowl, put the pigeon meat filling in the middle, and then tightly seal it.
Finally, deep-fry the pigeon sticky rice over low heat for about 20 minutes until golden brown, then remove and drain the oil before serving.
