The program was organized with the hope of bringing the joyful atmosphere of the Lunar New Year to the remote border region, encouraging the dedication and fighting spirit of the soldiers, and strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
On the evening of January 30th, the Cau Treo International Border Gate Border Guard Station (under the Ha Tinh Provincial Border Guard Command) organized a cultural exchange program titled "Celebrating the Party - Celebrating the Year of the Dragon 2024". Attending the program were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan, leaders of relevant departments, agencies and units, officers and soldiers of the Cau Treo Border Gate Border Guard Station, and people of Son Kim 2 commune, Huong Son district. The program also included the participation of local authorities and relevant units from Bolikhamsai province (Lao People's Democratic Republic). |
At the program, the image of soldiers safeguarding the peace of the nation's border and building close Vietnam-Laos relations in the border region was recreated, blending with beautiful love songs.
Notably, the program features artists from Bolikhamsai province.
In addition, there were professional performances from singers Bui Le Man and A Pao.
Interspersed throughout the event were impromptu musical performances from delegates of the two provinces of Ha Tinh and Bolikhamsai.
The program also featured officers and soldiers from the Border Guard Command of Ha Tinh province.
