Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hiep (Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard) requested Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to continue to thoroughly grasp Resolution 347, directives and resolutions related to Vietnam's defense strategy, and protect the Fatherland in the new situation. Advise and coordinate the implementation of social policies, ethnic and religious policies, promptly and effectively resolve issues that arise, build safe and secure border areas; proactively coordinate with Cambodian border guards to conduct activities to manage and protect the common border; maintain and strictly implement legal documents on borders; advise authorities at all levels to promote people's diplomacy , in order to strengthen solidarity and friendship between the authorities and people on both sides of the border.

Collectives and individuals are rewarded

On this occasion, 2 collectives and 3 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Border Guard Command for their achievements in implementing Resolution 347-NQ/QUTW.

* At the conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution 347-NQ/QUTW, the Provincial Military Party Committee spoke and discussed to clarify the results achieved, limitations, causes, lessons learned; proposed directions and tasks to continue effectively implementing the viewpoints, goals, tasks and main solutions set out in the Resolution in the coming time.

Colonel Nguyen Thuc Linh (Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command) requested Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to strengthen leadership, direction, dissemination and serious implementation of resolutions at all levels, plans and action programs of Military Region 9, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee related to research, forecasting, staff work to grasp the situation, carry out military and defense tasks more and more deeply, achieving practical results; take care of building the local armed forces of the province with comprehensive strength and high combat capability.
