
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on the afternoon of September 18, the tropical depression had strengthened into a storm. The storm's sound was at about 19.9 degrees North latitude and 118.4 degrees East longitude at 1 p.m. in the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 8 (62-74km/h), gusting to level 10, moving northwest at a speed of 15-20km/h.
According to forecasts, in the next 24 hours, the storm will continue to strengthen, at 1:00 p.m. on September 19, it will be at about 22.4 degrees North latitude and 115.2 degrees East longitude, on the southern coastal area of Guangdong province (China), level 9, gusting to level 11.
On September 20, the storm entered mainland Guangdong province, weakened into a tropical depression, with winds of level 7 and gusts of level 10.
By September 21, the tropical depression gradually weakened into a low pressure area in the southwest of Guangdong province (China).
