Apple will launch new AirPods with many important changes

Apple will launch new AirPods with a design that combines elements of AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro, and will notably integrate active noise cancellation (ANC) similar to AirPods Pro.

According to Bloomberg , Apple is planning to update its entire AirPods product line in 2024 and 2025. Specifically, the standard AirPods and AirPods Max will be refreshed next year.

Both the standard AirPods and AirPods Max are expected to have many feature improvements.

The AirPods 3 is currently the newest model in Apple's standard product line. Compared to the AirPods 2, Apple has redesigned the device and boasts better battery life. However, sales of this AirPods model are still far behind those of the AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro.

According to Bloomberg , the new AirPods will have a design that combines elements of the AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro. The headphones will also feature active noise cancellation (ANC), similar to the AirPods Pro. This significant change is expected to boost sales for the standard product line.

Additionally, the charging case of the new AirPods will support the ability to locate them via Find My. Similar to the new AirPods Pro 2, the product will also be equipped with a USB-C charging port.

Meanwhile, the AirPods Max model is unlikely to have any changes in appearance compared to its predecessor. According to Engadget , the headphones will only be updated with some new color options.

Apple is also reportedly researching health-related features and plans to implement them in the next generation of AirPods Max.
